The day has finally arrived! Time to switch up to tray 2 of 38. They feel a little tight. And when I say a little, I mean a lot. Getting the bottom tray in was almost as difficult as it was the first time. Thankfully it didn’t take too long. Taking them out to eat will probably be a different story though.
Two more weeks and I get to move on to tray 3!! Time sure flies when your teeth hurt =).
Time is coming up to move on to a new set of aligners. I really want to do it now, but must wait.
Good news is I’ve gotten adjusted to the aligners. They’re no longer hurting my tongue, or teeth. I’ve gotten some canker sores in my mouth, but they were tiny and I used tons of mouthwash and they seemed to have subsided.
That’s about all my updates. Obviously can’t see any changes as of yet. Hopefully time will pass by fast!
I have 3 more days of freedom, sleeping in, relaxing, and doing absolutely nothing. Well that’s not true. I have to pack and stuff, but school starts soon =(. My senior year…oh what a trip it has been. Feels like last year flew by, and I’m sure this one will too. I look forward to learning new things, but I really don’t want to just yet. Summer has been way too short.
So today is packing day. I’m heading out to pick up some boxes then trying not to forget the things I need. We’ll be driving up Monday, classes start Wednesday. I get a day to unpack and settle into my school routine (and read that thesis proposal that I should have read by now).
Anywho, I’m off. Hope everyone gets to school safe and soundly. Good luck packing, if you’re packing, and enjoy the rest of your summer!
Well things are looking up (finally). I’m getting used to the aligners, there’s virtually no pain now. It’s still a bit tricky to put them in/take them out, but I’m getting better! Yay! I did get a little cut today taking off my top aligner. I have a bit of skin between my front two teeth that sticks out a bit (don’t know if there’s a technical term for that..) but yeah, cut that a bit. There was blood…yuck! But it’s better now. No complaints!
Can’t wait to get to tray 38! It’s going to be a looong journey.
Oh yeah, and the elastics are still annoying! But not as much as before. I feel such a relief in my jaw and teeth when I finally take them off. It’s like a weight’s been lifted off my..teeth! lol
Anyway, that’s it for now. Check in later!
